Taiwan has been through many cycles of lotto mania in a history which dates back to the early 1950s. The biggest problem was “大家樂” Ta-chia-le (‘Everybody Happy’) craze that happened around 1978’ when the government issued lottery shut down. People turned the mania to the underground trade. This illegal gambling got so big influence on people’s everyday lives through their home to office. Most people believed that the numbers would be seen in every natural phenomenon.
