This is the improvement on the way people mix drink. A modular beverage cans is the solution for doing that without a cup.

In Taiwan, the market target of energy drink is blue-collar workers, they drink a lot because of their overtime working. So the energy drink makes them keep physical strengh, however that may cause overdose as well. Whisibh is the energy drink with the best market penetration in Taiwan and becomes the No.1 energy drink which has penetrated the blue-collar workes by series of TV commercials (1)(2)(3)(4) from 1980’. Usually, people like to mix one or two other drinks with energy drink to make it has diverse tastes. Sometimes you will see workers mix it with coffee or with coconut milk, soda or any other possible drink you want to fill. Some grocery stores offer what we called “energy set” which contains a bottle of Whisibh, cigarette and a small bag of betel or a bottle of Whisibh and two cans of soda.

The subculture of Taiwanese blue-collar workers is one of the most local and representive culture in Taiwan. However this group was the achievement in early industry in 70’ Taiwan but they are with lower social status in Taiwanese society nowadays. Even the situation and economic conditoin is not that good, they are respectable and honorable to me. So they deserve better.

Politics is a very sensitive issue in Taiwan based on the controversy history of Taiwan. Nowadays, the relationship with the People’s Republic of China and the related issues of Taiwan independence and Chinese reunification continue to dominate Taiwanese politics. Taiwanese are keen to join political activities so bad to speak their position and point of view, and sometimes play it as a show.

People wearing the customed shirt (printed as appeals, protest or support)  parade through the city for a weekend or congregate in a location for a whole week. To see the motion to depose the president Chen Shui-bian in 2006. People wearing red cloth who called “Red T-shirt Army” congregate in main Taipei. Few days after, another demonstration in support of the president was put on in another area in Taipei.

How to dispose the waste in Taiwan?

Do you think that’s a piece of cake to dispose the garbage in Taiwan? NO, You need to practice! and…..you need this!

Compared with the other plastic shopping bags, don’t you think the existing trash bag a little bit boring? Can you imagine how fun it is if the city-approved trash bags would be like this! A basketball trash bag!

To think of the trash things. The piles of trash might be sculptures, and the interaction between citizens and trunk is also interesting. In Aug 2009 during the World Games in Kaohsung Taiwan, Mayor of Kaohsiung, Ms. Chen Ju, used garbage trucks as town publicity under a limited funds. In this vedio, she is anouncing and inviting citizens to watch the games in World Games 2009.

People outsde Taiwan said that might be a strange things to experience dumping the trash in Taiwan. It’s like a ceremony, people get together at a given time with a bag of trash, standing at the side of the road, then the trash truck comes with classic music “Für Elise,” or “The Maiden’s Prayer” , and people moving along with the slight track of the truck to throw the bags into the garbage truck.

Sometimes, if you get late at the given time, you have to race with the garbage truck with your trash bag. Do that alone or with your partners. To Keep the same speed with truck, and suddenly, give it a shot, a nice shot! Trust me, you don’t want to pick it up and to do that again if you failed!

So, to be a professional trash throwers! You can be the best shotter in the field of disposal.
